Terms of use

The rules and conditions that govern your use of the Kids on Weekends app and website.

Last updated: 31 July 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Kids on Weekends mobile application and website (collectively, “the Service”), operated by Nimbco (“we”, “us”, “our”) in Singapore.

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Use of the Service

Kids on Weekends is a consumer app intended for parents and caregivers planning family outings. You may use the Service only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes.

You agree not to:

  • Share, post, or submit content that is unlawful, offensive, or misleading.
  • Attempt to access, modify, or disrupt the Service’s infrastructure.
  • Use the Service to collect data about other users without their consent.

2. No account needed

The app requires no account and no sign-in. There are no login credentials to protect, and we hold no user profile for you.

If you choose to plan together with a partner, you do so by creating or joining a household with a shared code. Anyone holding that code can see and edit the shared plan, so treat it like a password: share it only with people you want in your household, and leave or disband the household when you no longer want it in use.

If you sign up for our mailing list on this website, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.

3. Place suggestions

If you send us a place suggestion — through the in-app suggestion form, the contact form, or by email — you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use it in the app and on this website. You retain ownership of anything you send us.

We check suggestions ourselves before anything is published, and we may edit or decline them. There is no public posting, comment, or review feature in the app: nothing you send appears anywhere until we have reviewed it and written it up.

4. Place listings and accuracy

Place listings in Kids on Weekends are based on our personal experience and community contributions. We make no guarantee as to the accuracy, completeness, or current availability of any listed place. Always verify opening hours and prices directly with the venue before visiting.

5. Cost, and how we make money

The app is free to use. There is no subscription, no paid tier, and nothing to cancel. We do not ask for payment details.

This website carries affiliate links to booking partners such as Klook. If you book through one of those links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That commission is how the site pays for itself. It does not change what we recommend: we do not accept payment for a listing or for a favourable write-up, and venues cannot buy their way in.

We may introduce paid features in future. If we do, we will say so clearly in advance, and anything you can do for free today will not silently start costing money.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
